A New Year & A New Begining

Wow its been so long since I last posted. I guess that I just wanted to spare you all the boring details of my life. Well there is nothing more/ new to speak of as of this moment in time. I tried to get back out into the world of dating and well that ended quickly. What the hell is everyone out there that crazy? I guess to some degree it just proved to myself that I was not ready for that yet.

So December has proved its self the month of hell as it normally does, however this year being alone it was the worst ever. Its not so much the time of year or the month its just that emotionally this will always be a rough month for me. The 18th started it all with Jamie's birthday and then trying to get the house ready for the annual Christmas Party (which I really felt that I needed to do for not only me but for him as well). Pile on top of that some major stress from work (a just a lot of major projects) and school and well it was just a little too much. The holiday was okay I cooked (first time ever) and my friend Kathy came for dinner.

I kind of lost my way to the gym for the last three months (oops). However with the cold weather I just can't seem to drag my sorry butt out of bed at such an early (and dark) hour. I have instead found a new hobby, well its really an old one. I have to admit that its been twenty years since I found myself wearing a pair of roller skates, however I have been going at least twice a week for the last few weeks. What a great way to exercise during the winter months and did I mention its cheap! Yup I have found muscles that I did not know that I had! I have to admit it's been fun and the nice thing is that on Sunday nights its 21 and older. Which is great because the same people go every week.

Well the new year begins... I have so many changes going on first I'm transferring out of Kaplan University and moving over to South University which is based here in Georgia. The nice thing is that they have been around since 1899 and they are still a brick and mortar school that offers on-line classes. Good thing is that my books will be paid for by a grant that is funded by the state (GTE Grant). I hope that the weather forecast that is my life continues to have dissipating clouds and that sun soon shows its greatness. As normal I just do my thing and allow time to do its thing.

Here's to 2010! Because I don't do New Year's resolutions I leave you with this quote...

"Always be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man" (person) ... Benjamin Franklin
